Badlesque is the insubordinate and illegitimate lovechild of New or Neo Burlesque and its older and more experienced lover, traditional Burlesque

New Burlesque encompasses a far broader range of performance styles than its beloved beau burlesque, and is generally applauded for providing audiences and performers alike with a wider selection of  outrageous and often deeply thought-provoking entertainment

Badlesque, like an illicit lover in the night, recklessly abandons the above and bolts straight through the proverbial marital window to the bluntly shocking, scandalous, staggering, stunning, beguiling, bracing, breathtaking, and best of the baddest beyond

Badlesque is more than just burlesque. It is the solution for many who feel that traditional burlesque- while great fun and often deeply satisfying- is not entirely pulling its weight in the bedroom (or on the stage)

There are also many performers who feel that, having more to offer than your average tassel twirler, they too have come to the end of their ardent and affectionate affairs with the loving yet rigidly traditional burlesque, and who now feel ready to run away and seek something which can offer them more in the way of steamy, spicy, simmering stage shows, and arduous action and excitement

Little did they know that Badlesque is the Fagins Den of blazingly brilliant burlesque runaways- the Burlesque house of ill-repute where all of our sultry strays from the sombre street of  sensibility have been bred and brutally brainwashed for bad ass burlesque ....

The time has come for them to be turned out in to the streets and earn their keep entertaining the masses
